Two Ishida Fresh Food Weighers (FFW) bring significant improvements in terms of increased speed and efficiency, along with a noticeable reduction in labor, weighing, and packaging requirements for a variety of high-quality vegetable and seafood products from Menù S.r.l., one of the leading Italian manufacturers of specialty foods for the restaurant industry.
Each weigher handles a variety of sticky and delicate products, including artichokes, small onions, mushrooms, dried tomatoes, olives, and seafood. ITECH, the official Ishida representative, provided both machines, along with the design and installation of the accompanying portal, feeding conveyors, and the exclusive swinging neck distribution system.

Ishida Linear Multihead Weigher
The Ishida 12-head Fresh Product Weigher can fill up to 50 cans per minute compared to 30 in the past.
Ultra-Hygenic Conveyor Belts by ITECH
Applications are loaded onto the vibrating channels and then elevated by our Ultra-Hygienic Conveyor Belts to the weigher's top.
Swinging Arm for Product Distribution by ITECH
The product transported upward reaches the swinging arm that evenly distributes the product across all the radial channels of the weigher, thus increasing efficiency and reducing the need for one or more operators in distribution.
Distribution System by ITECH
In this line, we find two distribution systems, one at the top before the swinging arm and the other beneath the weigher. This one allows the weigher to weigh either single products to be dispensed simultaneously into two separate containers or mix two products at the discharge point.
Weigher Repositioning by ITECH for Format Change
A motorized portal has been introduced in the line, making it possible to move the entire weighing system for easier format change for the final packaging, while also facilitating cleaning and maintenance.
